What are 'muffin pants' you may be wondering?

Muffin pants is what happens when your pants are too tight and your tummy overflows over the waistband (kinda like a muffin!)...

Well, I bought Isla her first pair of jeans last week and tried them on today. Oh no... they were so tight she could barely move when they were on (but did that stop me from forcing her into them? Noooo!)

Ah well, maybe we can just say they're skinny jeans - after all, that's the trend nowadays!

Where has the time gone?

They say time flies when you're having fun... but this is just ridiculous!

Hard to believe it's been 11wks since Isla entered our lives... her arrival turned everything upside down, inside out and nothing has been the same since! It's true when they say the first smile makes up for all the sleep deprived nights (and days!), the bags under the eyes, the wardrobe shrinking (!) and having no life! There is no satisfaction quite like hearing Isla talk & laugh, seeing her smile and knowing that she is a happy, healthy bubba... a chubba bubba for that matter!

Isla loves talking to her Nana Michi ... and Papa Mano'o loves having an attentive audience when he practises his choir songs! She is a funny lil buddha and her personality is starting to shine through - if she's not happy, she'll definitely let you know and has discovered how to get her own way! We need to start 'tough love' soon tho before she gets spoilt... but can't seem to bring ourselves to do it just yet!!
